Summer History Series 2026
This year’s series takes a slightly different approach. Along with exploring local history and significant moments from the past, Russ will share some of his own experiences and stories that help bring these events to life.
Each session will focus on a unique theme, sometimes connected to Miners’ Bay and Gull Lake, and sometimes reaching further afield. Along the way, you’ll hear new stories and little-known local vignettes that have not been featured in previous years.
Every presentation is stand-alone, so you can attend one or join us all summer long.
Everyone is welcome!
Sessions run Wednesdays from 8–9 PM at Miners’ Bay Church, at the foot of the Rock Cut (Highway 35 and Miners’ Bay Road). Air conditioning and complimentary cold drinks will be available.
