About the GLCA

About the Gull Lake Cottagers’ Association

Since 1922, the Gull Lake Cottagers’ Association has been a strong, active voice for Gull Lake residents—bringing people together to protect what we love and make things happen. Our core focus is lake health, but our impact goes far beyond that.

We are a hands-on, engaged group of neighbors who care deeply about balancing Gull Lake’s natural beauty, water quality, and recreational enjoyment. Through collaboration, advocacy, and action, we work to protect and preserve the lake and surrounding land so future generations can enjoy it as much as we do today.

Staying Informed. Staying Involved.

The Association keeps members informed and involved on issues that matter, including:

  • Water quality and environmental protection

  • Municipal and government initiatives

  • Official plans, by-laws, and building regulation

By sharing timely information and encouraging participation, we help our community stay knowledgeable, engaged, and prepared.

Building a Strong Lake Community

A healthy lake depends on a strong community. GLCA organizes and supports events that connect residents and celebrate life on Gull Lake, including:

  • Annual General Meeting

  • Regatta

  • Rock Bass Derby

  • Golf Tournament

  • And more community gatherings throughout the year

We get things done, we have fun doing it, and we’re always excited to welcome new members who share our passion for Gull Lake.

If you care about the future of Gull Lake and want to be part of an active, capable, and friendly community—we’d love to have you join us.
